Welcome to NEMS PTO
We have plenty of opportunities for you to support NEMS throughout the year. Much of what we do is behind the scenes from hosting the upcoming Back to School staff luncheon to helping sort fundraiser orders. We have something for everyone who wants to help.

8th Grade Semi Formal Planning
The early stages of planning the 8th grade semi-formal are in the works. The dance date is tentatively set for June 3, 2017, pending approval. This special event is organized and hosted by the 8th grade parents, and we will need lots of help. Please look out for information on how you will be able to get involved!
We meet once a month, and we run fundraisers and activities throughout the school year. We know you are busy - and even the smallest contribution makes a big difference. From supplying drinks for Snack Shack to working the cash register at our Book Fairs, there are plenty of opportunities to help.
Joining the PTO is a great way to stay connected to your middle schooler without interfering with his/her growing independence - and it's less likely to cause teen eye-rolling, sighing or facial grimaces. Children learn by example. If your child sees you getting involved at NEMS, he or she is more likely to join school activities, sports and clubs.
NEMS PTO is a non profit group of parents, educators and community members who work together to support our school and offer educational opportunities for our students. We depend on fundraisers to provide the extras that mean so much to our students.
With your help, NEMS PTO supports:
NEMS School Playbill
NEMS Scholastic Book Fairs
6th Grade Breakfast of Champions
7th Grade Rita's Water Ice
8th Grade Camping Trip
8th Grade Liberty Lakes picnic
8th Grade Breakfast
Awards and Scholarships
Caps and Gowns
The Giving Tree
Books for the library
And so much more...
