• Dear Band Members and Parents,

The Band Parents Officers and I are currently working on a Spring trip for the Band and Drill Team.  We will be going to Boston, Massachusetts for a 2-day (1-night) trip.  The dates are: April 12th and 13th.  The students will miss one day of school.

We are in the planning stage now and we are working with a travel/tour company.  We are looking at the following possibilities while in Boston (or on the way):

    • Quincy Market (possible performance opportunity)
    • Guided Freedom Trail Walking Tour
    • Visit the Old North Church
    • Admission to the Blue Man Group Show
    • Admission to Six Flags New England (possible performance opportunity)
    • Mark Twain House

The price of the trip is still pending until the itinerary is finalized.  It will cost approximately $600 and money from students' accounts may be applied to the cost.

Again, we are in the planning stage and the trip depends on Board of Education approval. As I get more details and information, I will pass it along to you.

    Thank you.

    Mr. D. Grotto
