About me: I have been teaching in New Egypt for 20 years. I started my career as a Middle School Math Teacher. I taught 3rd grade for 2 years, I taught 4th grade for 12 years, I taught 5th grade for 4 years, and now I'm back to my favorite: 4th grade! I was honored to be named 2015 Teacher of the Year! I plan to work very hard to develop a special relationship with my current students and parents. I like spending my free time with Samantha, my 11-year-old Chocolate Lab and I am definitely the BIGGEST GIANTS fan ever! I love working with the teachers at DGHWES. We all work well together, share ideas and strategies, and support each other in every way possible. I am grateful for my students as I learn from them every day. I am a student myself this year at GCU as I work diligently towards a Master's Degree in Administration and Leadership. I am very excited about our upcoming experience and I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
