  • Does my child need to be enrolled in the Plumsted Township School District in order to attend camp? Our camps are open to all families in the community. You do not need to attend the district to attend camp.

What are the dates of the camp?
Warrior Day Camp will be offered from Monday, July 10 to Friday, August 11, 2023. We encourage families to register early as weeks have filled to capacity in the past.

    What are the camp hours?
Camp will operate Monday-Friday starting on Monday, July 10 through Friday, August 11, 2023, from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm at the New Egypt Middle School. Extended hours are available in the morning from 7:00 am – 9:00 am and in the afternoon from 3:30 pm – 5:45 pm for an additional fee.

    What ages can attend camp?
Warrior Day Camp will operate for students who are in preschool (or a minimum of 3 years old)-5th grade this school year. Your preschool child does not need to be currently enrolled in the district program.

What do I need to pack for my child?
Each day, campers should bring a nut-free lunch and snack, towel for outside time, sunblock, comfortable shoes, and a filled reusable water bottle. We kindly ask that you LABEL everything. Younger children should pack a change of clothes including undergarments and socks.

Do preschoolers go on the bus for field trips? No. Preschoolers under the age of 5 do not go on trips. Students 5 and older may, with parent permission.

Potty Trained Policy: A child must be fully potty trained to attend the Warrior Day Camp program. Potty trained means:

    • The child can flush the toilet.
    • The child can pull up and down their own pants.
    • The child can use the restroom independently.
    • The child can wash their hands properly after using the toilet.
    • The child can wipe themselves.
    • The child does not wear pull-ups
