Superintendent of Schools

 
Mr. Ytreboe was appointed as Superintendent in January 2024. Mr. Ytreboe has been an educator for twenty eight years and taught thirteen years as a social studies teacher at Toms River Intermediate East, Toms River H.S. South, and Toms River H.S. North.  He was also the head coach for the girls cross country and track & field teams winning two SJ Group IV Sectional titles and one Group IV title.  Mr. Ytreboe later served as an Assistant Principal at Toms River H.S. North for seven years and the Director of Pupil Services for the Stafford Township School District for six years.  While in Stafford, Mr. Ytreboe was promoted to serve in an assistant superintendent capacity for three years as the Director of Research, Planning, and Evaluation and as the Director of Personnel before joining the Plumsted Township School District.  Mr. Ytreboe received a bachelor’s degree in History-Secondary Education from The College of New Jersey and a master’s degree in Education Administration from Georgian Court University.

Business Administrator

Mr. Sean Gately 

Mr. Gately was appointed Business Administrator/Board Secretary of Plumsted Township School District in August 2010. Prior to his current service in Plumsted, Mr. Gately served as the Business Administrator/Board Secretary in Teaneck Public Schools and Spring Lake Heights School District. Mr. Gately also served as the Director of Support Operations for the East Brunswick Public Schools and a Staff Accountant for the Paterson Public Schools. Mr. Gately earned a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Indiana University and an accounting degree from William Paterson University.

Director of Pupil Services

 
Mrs. Drucker graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Marketing. While attending Monmouth University, Mrs. Drucker returned to her Alma Mater, Brick Memorial High School, where she was appointed as the Varsity Gymnastics Assistant Coach and held the position for 10 consecutive seasons. Her love for helping others and guiding and supporting her athletes, led Mrs. Drucker to leave the corporate world and begin her teaching career at Brick Memorial as a Comprehensive Business teacher. During her time as a teacher,  she had the privilege of teaching courses such as  AP Macroeconomics, Marketing, Senior Seminar, and Business Law. After a few years of teaching, Mrs. Drucker decided to follow her dream of becoming a school counselor and received her Masters of Arts in School Counseling from Georgian Court University and fulfilled the requirements to receive her Director of School Counseling certification.  Shortly after graduating, Mrs. Drucker was hired as a high school counselor in Hazlet, NJ. In January of 2019, Mrs. Drucker joined the Plumsted Township School District as the Supervisor of New Egypt High School’s Guidance Department. In July of 2020, Mrs. Drucker was appointed to the Director of Student Personnel Services & Guidance. She is now responsible for district testing, scheduling, and coordinating all PK - 12 school counseling services.
 

Director of Curriculum & Instruction

Mrs. Heather DeGrandis 

Mrs. DeGrandis has 20 years of educational experience.  She graduated from Monmouth University with a degree of Chemistry and Biology, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Kean University.  Mrs. DeGrandis started her career as a Pharmaceutical Research Chemist. Mrs. DeGrandis, in 2005, took an alternate route where she taught Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Earth Science at Toms River High School South.   In 2014, Mrs. Degrandis was promoted to  Assistant Principal at Toms River High School North.  Mrs. DeGrandis is the School representative for the Youth Service Commission for Ocean County and the County School Liaison for Ocean County CIACC.


Director of Special Services

 
Ms. Nechamkin has been working in education for over 20 years.  She went to Monmouth University for her undergraduate and graduate degrees.  She has certificates as a Teacher of the Handicapped and as an Elementary School Teacher.  In addition, she has certificates as a Supervisor, a Learning Disabilities Teacher- Consultant (LDT-C) and as a Student Assistance Coordinator. Ms. Nechamkin also has a Masters of Science as a Principal and a Masters in Education in Educational Counseling.  She started her career as a special education teacher before becoming a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant on a Child Study Team.  She was also a Coordinator of Special Services before becoming a Director of Special Education. Ms. Nechamkin is passionate about advocating for students, ensuring that their educational, behavioral, and social/emotional needs are met.
 

Principal, New Egypt High School

 
Mrs. Videla completed her Bachelor of Science degree in 1997 from Hofstra University. She has dedicated the majority of her career to New Egypt High School where she started in 2000. Prior to New Egypt, Mrs. Videla  taught one year at Mount Saint Mary Academy, in Watchung, and two years at Roselle Park High School. During her tenure as a Physical Education and Health teacher for New Egypt High School, Mrs. Videla developed the Physical Education and Health Curriculums and acted as lead teacher for her department. Mrs. Videla coached several sports over the years for New Egypt, but her accomplishments as varsity softball coach from  2000-2009 are what she is most proud of. Under her leadership, the team won 6 Conference Championships, 1 Rancocas Valley Elite Tournament Championship, 1 Ocean County Tournament Championship, 3 Sectional State Championships, and 1 Group I State Title . Mrs. Videla completed her Master’s in Administration and Supervision from Georgian Court University in 2006 and will now serve as New Egypt High School’s Principal.
 

Assistant Principal, New Egypt High School

Mrs. Jennifer Kociuba

Mrs. Kociuba graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science in 1999. She began her career shortly after teaching Physical Education at Marlton Middle School located in Marlton, NJ. After six years, she became a Health and Physical Education teacher here in New Egypt and has been an educator and coach for the past 17 years. During her time in the district, she has taught Health and Physical Education to multiple grade levels, including Middle and High School, as well as several new elective courses to provide the students with a wealth of options and opportunities for success in subjects they care about. She has written curriculum for the district,  she has led department budgeting, and she has mentored new teachers for the district. Mrs. Kociuba earned her Master’s of Education Degree in School Leadership from Wilmington University in 2005. As of the summer of 2024, Mrs. Kociuba will now be employed as the New Egypt High School Assistant Principal. 

 


Principal, Dr. Gerald H. Woehr Elementary School 

 

Mrs. Nesbihal was appointed Principal of the elementary school in January 2022, after completing four years as the Assistant Principal of the New Egypt Middle School and four and half years as Assistant Principal of the Elementary School.  Prior to joining New Egypt, Mrs. Nesbihal taught grades 4 and 5 in Howell Township where she also served as an instructional coach.  Mrs. Nesbihal received her bachelor’s degree majoring in education and psychology from Georgian Court University and her Masters Degree in Educational Administration from New Jersey City University.

 


Assistant Principal, Dr. Gerald H. Woehr Elementary School

  

Mr. Cilmi was a special education teacher for sixteen years prior to joining the Plumsted Township School District as a Vice Principal. He began his teaching career in the East Brunswick School District where he taught grades kindergarten through five prior to moving to the Fair Haven School District. During his fourteen years in Fair Haven, he taught grades three through eight. In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Cilmi has spent a great deal of time mentoring new staff members and writing curriculum in the content subject areas. Mr. Cilmi received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Rowan University and a post baccalaureate teaching certificate from Kean University. Most recently, Mr. Cilmi earned his master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Georgian Court University.


Supervisor of Early Childhood Education, New Egypt Primary School

  

Mrs. White has over 20 years of educational experience and has been a Plumsted School District staff member since September 2004.  During her time in the district, she taught first grade for eleven years, fourth grade for five years, and taught Gifted and Talented for three years.  Mrs. White has written curriculum K-5 and has proided several in and out-of-district professional development workshops.  Before teaching in Plumsted, she taught Math at the Challenge Youth Program at Fort Dix.  Mrs. White graduated from the College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Elementary Education in 2003.  In 2010, she graduated from Thomas Edison State College with a Masters in Educational Leadership.  Mrs. White also has Associate Degrees in Human Resources and Logistics from the Community College of the Air Force.  She served four years of active duty in the Air Force and 21 years in the New Jersey Air National Guard.  She retired from the military in December 2020.  As of September 2024, Mrs. White will now serve as the Supervisor of Early Childhood Education at New Egypt Primary School.
