Middle School Administration
Mr. Richard P. DeMarco
Mr. DeMarco graduated from Dunellen High School in 1995. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Rowan University in 1999. After a brief stint in the corporate world, Mr. DeMarco began teaching and coaching at New Egypt High School as a Special Education teacher in September 2001. Along the way, Mr. DeMarco taught in the self-contained classroom, ICR classroom, and resource room. He also taught younger grades in the Extended School Year program for two years.
Mr. DeMarco received two Master's Degrees from New Jersey City University in Special Education and Administration and Supervision.
In November 2010, he became the Assistant Principal of the New Egypt High School, and eventually became the Assistant Principal of the Middle School in the summer of 2011. In July 2013, Mr. DeMarco was promoted to the principal of New Egypt Primary School, serving as the school's principal until June 2017. In July 2017, Mr. DeMarco became the principal of New Egypt Middle School, a position which he currently holds.
