Welcome to Mr. B's Chorus!
The Choral Experience
The chorus program is for distinguished students seeking additional music experience in a large vocal performing ensemble. This ensemble is treated as a professional performance opportunity of high quality and caliber beyond the general music classroom. All of the repertoire chosen for this ensemble have higher than average music demands and challenges every student’s vocal and music theory abilities. We are looking forward to the upcoming seasonal winter and spring concerts as well as additional volunteer community concerts throughout the year. Students are expected to participate the full year with appropriate behavior and attendance while continuing to achieve academic goals in the general classroom. Chorus registration is open to all students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Here’s to another successful year of beautiful singing together and making musical memories to last a lifetime.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held Thursdays from 3:35-4:35 pm in the elementary gymnasium. Students are expected to be prepared for rehearsal with a folder, sheet music, and a pencil. For student safety, please sign next to each student's name during pick-up to confirm their transportation outside of the gymnasium doors. Students will be released in order by grade level 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Please have transportation arrive in a timely manner and have alternate plans in place in case of emergencies.
