Mrs. Brown's Enrichment
Students qualify for Enrichment in grades 3-5 based on multiple criteria. These criteria include CogAt tests, report card grades, PARCC test scores and teacher input. Determination is based on a student's own merit, but it can also depend on how many students scored above your child since there are a limited number of placements in each program. Scheduling is based on the school schedule each year. The school schedule determines, in part, how often Enrichment classes can meet and the length of each class period. An Enrichment student must be able to maintain classroom grades, balance a challenging schedule and show responsibility for Enrichment projects and deadlines.
All first and second graders receive Enrichment with their classes.
