Plumsted Township Community Education

We offer classes for preschool - 5th grade. Classes can be one-time, or 3-6 weeks long. In addition, programs are sometimes offered on Early Dismissal days and for Holiday Care on days when the district is closed. Our classes can also be combined with extended care until 6:00 pm with the New Egypt Extended Day (NEED) program.

In accordance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, the PTCE Program will provide reasonable accommodations for participants with disabilities. The District reserves the right to make a determination that students that require accommodations that exceed the reasonable standard would be deemed inappropriate for the program and therefore not eligible to participate. A determination as to whether a requested accommodation is reasonable would be based upon a case-by-case analysis involving an interactive exchange between the parties to determine whether a reasonable accommodation was capable of being furnished.  

A nurse is not available for our after-school classes. Community Education classes are peanut/tree nut free for students with life-threatening food allergies to also enjoy. Please do not send your child with any food products that contain nuts for either their lunch or a snack.
