Alumni Jackie Cregan is a news anchor for WVFX!

Jackie Cregan is excited to bring you your local news every weeknight on WVFX! She was born and raised in Cream Ridge, New Jersey and spent her summers growing up down the Jersey Shore, but has most recently resided in the New York area. She graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Speech Communication and Rhetorical Studies with a background in broadcast journalism. Jackie's passion was sparked in high school when she was the anchor for the morning news. Interning at NJN further ignited her interest in producing and everything television related. While attending Hofstra University, her dreams became more of a reality through her internship at Peacock Productions at NBC News in 30 Rockefeller Center. Her experience at NBC solidified her desire to be involved in journalism and gave her experience in all facets of creating a television show. Jackie feels most alive being involved in the newsroom and is thrilled to be a part of the team at WDTV/WVFX. Besides the news, she enjoys exploring new cities, spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants and recipes, relaxing on the beach and photography. If you see her around town, be sure to say hi and connect. She enjoys meeting new people and would really love to get to know the viewers. Jackie wants to better understand what matters most to you, so be sure to let her know via email at jcregan@wdtv.com.
